Tuesday’s are fun for me as it’s our mummy and me day and I teach the smallest English Now group who are all aged under 9 months. SUPER CUTE!! We try to include english in their daily life and show ways of playing in english at home.  Today we were playing a game called “Where’s the apple?” basically mummy hides the apple and baby (because they are all starting to crawl now) has to find it saying..

Today we were playing with A Chan and M Chan.  Their mum’s worked really hard to play with their children in english – WAY TO GO MUMS! M Chan is so fast these days she managed to crawl to the apple (hidden under a basket) straight away.  I asked her “Where’s the apple?” and she immediately pointed to the apple!  I was so happy to see all her mum’s hard work pay off! Well done M Chan and mum lets all keep trying to play at home in english!

先月、Mommy&MeとAfterschoolで“Kid Connections”というgameをしました。

このgameは、先生が言った体の部分を、他のお友だちとくっつけます。

例えば、 “Toe to toe!”と言われたら、パートナーを探し、お友達のつま先と自分のつま先をくっつけます。 

Afterschoolでは、先生が体の部分を言った瞬間にみんな必死にお友達の所に走っていって、言われた体の部分を楽しそうにくっつけて遊んでいました。中には、ちょっと照れながら体の部分をくっつけてgameをしているお友達もいました（*^_^*）

Mommy&Meでは、お友達の代わりにママとお子さんとでgameをしました！

“Cheek to cheeｋ！”と先生から言われたら、ママが自分の子供に

“Cheek to cheeｋ！！”と言いながら、ほっぺをくっつけて遊んでいました☆

Hey everyone,

Its graduation season all across Japan and at English Now too!!  Students are all moving up through all the grades, mummy and me, preschool and afterschool!  It’s really satisfying to see all the students moving up to the new classes with confidence and a smile when they receive their diplomas!  I know they are all going to be amazing in their new classes and their new teachers are going to be so impressed by their English, I know I am!!

Last week was snack making week for our mummy and me class and the preschoolers and we made a colourful butterfly using jelly and pretz.  It looked good and smelled great when we mixed the water and jelly powder together so the children were able to use and express different senses in English sight, taste and smell which was really good.  They seemed to really enjoy the snack…….and trying to get it on the spoon!!

Congratulations to all our graduating students!!

Hey everyone, so we finished moving and opened the new building last week.  Its so nice, the classroom is slightly bigger but much brighter, there is so much sunlight which is great!  We had loads of fun last week celebrating the dolls festival!  In our pre school and mummy and me groups all the kids made their own set of celebration dolls using paper cups and origami paper, the results were very cute!

As Aprils draws closer lots of the children are preparing to graduate to the next level of English Now.  They are truly amazing!  One student in our preschool group graduated from the 1A story level (24 books) recently and treated us to three recitations last week from his new 1B level!  Well Done!!  We are all very proud of your achievement!!

新年明けましておめでとうございます！

（と言ってもすでに２週間ほど経っていますが・・・。）

今年も宜しくお願い致します。

本日、２０１１年初日のレッスンでした。

みんな元気に“Hello!!”と言って嬉しそうな表情をして教室に入ってきました。

約2週間生徒さんの笑顔を見ていなかったので、今日はすごくうれしい気分になりました！！

さらに冬休み中もCDを毎日聴いていたというお話を聞いて、お父様、お母様には感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです（*^_^*）

２０１１年は、昨年よりもさらにスタッフ一同力を合わせて良い指導が出来るように頑張っていきたいと思いますので、引き続きEnglish Nowをどうぞよろしくお願い致します。
