This week in the graders class I was overwhelmed by one of our students motivation!

She was so motivated to do her homework and pass the dictation test that she practiced so much she then tried writing it in her own special notebook in super nice writing!!  I was so happy when she showed me because I know she worked so hard and would definitely pass the test.

BEAUTIFUL!

So in the lesson we did a little more practice:

WORKING HARD!

Finally when we did the test she could do it in only a few minutes!!

I DID IT!

I love to see the students challenging themselves and doing well.  This student is improving all the time and I am really proud of all her hard work!!  WELL DONE!!

PreschoolのY君、週2回来てアフターランチもとっているので、

とっても上手に絵本は読めるのですが、皆の前で暗唱をするのが怖くてなかなか暗唱が進まずにいました。

けれど最近始まったお母さんの暗唱のおかげで、

絵本の暗唱が出来るようになりました♪
Y君のお母さんがY君の前で暗唱をしたことによりY君も勇気づけられ、

暗唱をしてみることに。

今回はY君の希望で、お母さんと一緒に皆の前で暗唱です！

上手く出来るかな・・・

Y君が忘れてしまった時は、ママが少しだけお手伝い。ちょっとハラハラ・・・
そして・・・・・・・・・・

“I did it!!!!”

やったあああ！！出来ました！！！
Y君もママもとっても嬉しそう♪

Y君、よく皆の前で勇気出して読んでくれたね。先生もとーってもHappyです＾＾
ママがいなくても一人で読めるようになると良いな。きっと出来るよね＾＾

お子さんの“やりたい”を引き出すのに、お母さんの力は必要不可欠なんだなーと

しみじみ思わされた一場面でした。
これからもママとお子様の暗唱楽しみにしています♪

絵本の暗唱をなかなかスタートできなかったEちゃん。

ママの絵本暗唱をきっかけにママと一緒に頑張っています！

来週もママと一緒に絵本暗唱を頑張ります♪

Last Week was Valentines day and so we have all been singing our favourite valentines day song , it goes like this:

“Skidamarink – a – dink – a – dink,

Skidamarink – a – do!”

“I Love You”

” I Love you in the morning,

and in the afternoon,

I love you in the evening!”

“And underneath the moon!”

The kids love this song!  They loved it so much that at playtime we made a special playdoh villiage so we could sing it to the animals with our own playdoh hearts!  Very Cute!  I’m happy to see the kids singing by themselves and enjoying using english own their own!  It’s really amazing to watch them sometimes!  Good Job everyone!! Let’s keep all having fun in english together!

最近、お母さんも絵本暗唱にチャレンジしています！

始めた頃は、お母さんから「え！！私も絵本暗唱するの！」という声が多かったですが、

絵本暗唱にチャレンジしたお母さんが合格した瞬間、自分のお子さんがとても喜んでいる姿を見て「また来週頑張ります！」と言って喜んで帰って行っています♪

お母さんが暗唱している時にとても印象的だったのは、

お子さんが終えている絵本をお母さんと一緒にみんなで暗唱したり、

お母さんがちょっとつっかえたりしたら心配そうにお子さんが見ていたり、

合格したらみんなですっごく喜んだりと、家族みんなが一喜一憂している姿を見れたことです！

頑張っているお母さんの姿は本当に素敵だと思いました☆

この頑張りがお子さんにも伝わっていると思います♡

これからは家族みんなで絵本暗唱を頑張りましょう！
